Foggy Ridge Cider grows heirloom apples near the Blue Ridge Pkwy in SWVA. Old fashioned apples like Ashmead's Kernel, Cox's Orange Pippin & Roxbury Russet are blended with English & French cider apples to craft artisan hard cider.
May through early December, Sat & Sun, 11-5. Otherwise by appointment
From the Blue Ridge Parkway (8 miles from the Parkway) Just south of Villa Appalaccia and Chateau Morrisette, near milepost 174, go west on Buffalo Mountain Road (# 758). At the Y in the road at Buffalo Mountain Store, stay staright on Buffalo Mountain Road. Turn left on Rock Church Road (#628) at the green dumpsters. Pass Buffalo Presbyterian Church—the road will change names but stay straight. Turn left on Pineview Road (#656). Foggy Ridge Cider is one half mile on the left.See website for other directions.
