Menagerie

The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley will again host Menagerie for the artist of the New River Valley (Pulaski, Montgomery, Giles, Floyd and Wythe Counties; Cities of Radford, Salem, Roanoke and Galax), or who have previously exhibited work at the Fine Arts Center within the past two years. 

Menagerie is an exhibit in a wide range of media and interests. It’s a once a year opportunity to catch up with new directions, new works, old friends and to make new friends. It’s a once a year opportunity for emerging artist to break into the exhibition world.  Entered works cannot have been shown before in Menagerie and must have been executed within the past two years. 

There is a $6.00 entry fee for each entry and a limit of two entries per person. Categories are oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphic, fiber, photography, mixed media, and sculpture.  All work must be framed and ready to hang.

All entries must be at the Fine Arts Center by August 13, 2012. The show will run from August 20, 2012 thru October 11, 2012 A meet the Artists’ 

Reception with be on Thursday, October 11th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at the Fine Arts Center on 21 West Main Street, Pulaski. Entries may be picked up after the reception on October 11, 2012.
