Welcome to Pineview Farm Alpacas! Our 25 acre alpaca farm is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, just a few miles from both Smith Mountain Lake and Roanoke. Education is an important part of our business so we enjoy sharing what we do with our visitors.

Come meet our sweet and gentle alpacas, tour our farm, and visit our farm store. We are a family farm, run by three generations of weavers, felters and knitters. We love to welcome people to our alpaca farm and share with them the daily joys and challenges of raising these sweet and environmentally friendly animals. What we sell is what we eat. We raise safe beef that is very lean and healthy. Our beef is lean because it is grass fed. We use Angus bulls and most of our cows are Herefords. This produces top quality “black and white face” calves. We also have chickens.
