Gary Carroll Sugar Run Baskets Natural Material

White oak is the basis for all my baskets. Like the early American pioneers, I go to the woods and carefully select a tree that is suitable for basket material. All material for my baskets is hand made the old fashioned way by using hand tools such as axe, froe, drawknife and knife. Our baskets are functional and/or decorative. With care they will last for generations.

Claudia Brown Superior Photography Two Dimensional

My photography is for people who love the outdoors, wildlife and the beauty of nature. It is for everyone who wants to listen to water running over the rocks of a small stream or feel the warm sun after a long winter, or smell the clean smell after a rain. It's for those who enjoy watching a fawn with a doe, or a black bear cub with its mother.

I love the outdoors, I thank God for it, and I want to share it with others through my prints and greeting cards.

Eileen Stoyanoff The Glass Ceiling Studio Glass

I had a successful career for 30 years in computer deployments for a major outsourcing company. I travelled extensively around the world and dedicated herself to problem solving and putting out fires on a daily basis. Needless to say this was no fun and very stressful.

Now, given the opportunity to retire, I am enjoying my real passion of creating stained glass pieces. After moving to Abingdon, Virginia I began taking classes from a renowned stained glass teacher. After mastering the techniques I began creating my own designs. My pieces include small and large window hangings, lanterns, floor lamps, kaleidoscopes, night lights, Christmas ornaments and other unique gift items. My specialty is arts and crafts mission style, geometric pieces and the use of other elements such as copper, agates, nuggets, sea shells, etc.

Pat Tracy The Magic of Yarn Fiber

Why bother looking for the handmade object when the world is full of cheap goods produced by exploited workers or clever machines? Precisely because the handmade is unique, and to buy a piece of careful craftsmanship is to make a friend in that parallel universe of deeper values. I have sewn and knitted for decades, but weaving is my new obsession. I love the process of seeing colorful thread and yarn turn magically on my needles or my loom into scarves, shawls, and table linens.
